Current Transfer Bonuses for Credit Card points (As of December, 31, 2025)

Updated: Dec 31, 2025

This guide has been updated with the most current, widely reported transfer bonuses available as of **Wednesday, December 31, 2025**.

*Please note that transfer bonuses are highly time-sensitive and, in some cases, targeted. Always log in to your respective bank rewards portal (American Express, Chase, Citi, Capital One, or Bilt) to confirm that a bonus is available to your specific account and to verify the exact terms, thresholds, and expiration time before initiating any transfer.

Current Transfer Bonuses (as of December 31, 2025)

  • American Express Membership Rewards

* Virgin Atlantic Flying Club: Receive a **40% transfer bonus** when moving Membership Rewards points to Virgin Atlantic. With this bonus, 1,000 Amex points convert into approximately 1,400 Virgin Points. This promotion is scheduled to run through **December 31, 2025**, though availability may be targeted and not visible to all cardholders.

At this time, no other American Express transfer bonuses (such as to Air France/KLM or Marriott Bonvoy) are widely reported as active.

  • Chase Ultimate Rewards

* IHG One Rewards: Chase is offering a **70% transfer bonus** to IHG One Rewards. This means 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points convert into 1,700 IHG points. The bonus is currently valid through **January 15, 2026**

* Air Canada Aeroplan: Chase is offering a **tiered transfer bonus of up to 25%** when transferring points to Air Canada Aeroplan. The exact bonus depends on the number of points transferred in a single transaction. This promotion is expected to run through **January 5, 2026**.

No other Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer bonuses (including Avios partners such as British Airways, Iberia, or Aer Lingus) are widely reported as active at this time.

  • Citi ThankYou Points

* No active transfer bonuses are currently widely reported for Citi ThankYou Points.

Previous promotions to partners such as Turkish Airlines, Avianca LifeMiles, Virgin Atlantic, and Qatar Airways have expired.

Targeted or unpublished offers may still exist, but none are broadly confirmed as of today.

  • Capital One Miles

* No active Capital One transfer bonuses are widely reported** at this time.

Recent promotions, including the Japan Airlines (JAL) launch bonus, have ended.

  • Bilt Rewards

* No active public transfer bonuses are currently available.

Bilt’s most significant transfer bonuses typically appear on the first of the month (Rent Day) and are often targeted. As of December 31, 2025, no active Bilt transfer bonuses are being broadly reported.

Important Notes & Best Practices

*Always verify in your account: Some bonuses are targeted or limited to specific users and may not appear publicly.

* Bonus posting timing: Bonus miles or points may post separately from the base transfer and can sometimes take days or weeks to appear.

* Transfers are irreversible: Once points are transferred to an airline or hotel program, they cannot be moved back.

* Avoid speculative transfers: Even with a bonus, it’s best to transfer only when you have a specific redemption planned to avoid devaluation or limited award availability.
